Mary Street George Town

As this house was built in the mid 80’s, the owners decided that it was in need of a facelift. It had been a dark home with not a large number of features.

The owners, in conjunction with Ninedot Construction, decided that seeing they were near the sea they would try and  utilise some of the images of a wooden boat - look at the exposed beams and ribs as an example of this. The use of curved timber is another example.

As an older person required access to the house the owners had the fore site to utilise ramps at the entrance points, rather than steps.

Clever design, colour and craftsmanship have seen this house transformed into a bright warm home.
