Turners Marsh alterations
A 1938 farmhouse that has experienced an architectural makeover. The farmhouse was the families grandparents house so they did not want to demolish the house for sentimental reasons, hence the extensive extensions and alterations.
The concept was to increase the living space and bring a tired old farm house back to life. A 139 square metre extension was added at the rear of the house using large amounts of glass to capture the natural light and the stunning views. This resulted in a living area that incorporates the use of modern techniques and materials, such as polished concrete floors and granite kitchen benches.
The extension has now been completed and the family has reclaimed their home and the new living space.
